About I Ching
The Book of Changes
The I Ching is one of the oldest Chinese classics, dating back over 3,000 years. It is a divination system and philosophical text that reveals patterns of change in the universe.
The 64 Hexagrams
Each hexagram consists of six lines, either solid (yang) or broken (yin). The 64 combinations represent all possible situations in human life, offering guidance for each circumstance.
How to Consult
Traditionally, three coins are tossed six times. Each toss generates a yin or yang line. The resulting hexagram is then interpreted as guidance for your question.
